Why length ordering is useful
It surfaces outliers immediately. Anything unusually long is at the top, where limit breaches, malformed rows and accidentally concatenated values all appear together.

Finding title tags and meta descriptions that exceed display limits, spotting URLs with runaway parameters, and identifying rows where two fields merged during an export.
Alphabetical sorting hides these
An alphabetical sort scatters long entries throughout the list, so a problem affecting fifty rows out of five thousand is effectively invisible.
