You need traffic data for three hundred specific URLs. The analyst needs those URLs in a form they can paste into a query, and a plain list is not it.
What they actually need
A quoted, comma-separated list that drops straight into a WHERE ... IN (...) clause. Supplying that instead of a bare list removes a step from their work and a round trip from yours.
Why this is worth caring about
Requests that arrive ready to run get answered the same day. Requests that need reformatting first join a queue. The difference is thirty seconds of your time against days of waiting.
Watch for apostrophes
Values containing an apostrophe — anything with a possessive or a French place name — break single-quoted SQL unless escaped. Flag those to the analyst rather than letting a query fail in a way that looks like their problem.
