A page ranks fourth and earns almost no clicks. The instinct is to rewrite the page. Check the snippet first — it is a far cheaper fix and frequently the actual problem.
Diagnosing from the result, not the page
Preview the listing as it currently appears. A truncated title, a description that starts with boilerplate, or a headline that answers a different question than the query all suppress clicks regardless of how good the page is.
What usually needs to change
Put the distinguishing benefit in the first fifty characters of the title. Open the description with the reason to click rather than a company introduction. Neither requires touching the page content.
Measure the right thing
Watch click-through rate for that query in Search Console, not rankings. A snippet rewrite should move clicks at an unchanged position — that is the whole point of it.
